No reverse lights, rear parking sensors, fog lights and windscreen washer

Wondering if anyone has further insight into an issue im having on my 2013 Passat CC (auto tdi). Basically the other day i was trying to play about in coding my folding mirrors to auto fold (cant get that working), however, when entering the security access code and selecting 'DO IT' VCDS froze and went non responsive for a minute or so, i ended up having to force close the program. Since this happened i have lost my reverse lights, rear parking sensors, front/rear fog lights (all other lights fine) and my windscreen washer (headlight washer fine). I have checked all the fuses on the side of the dash and in the tray beside the battery and all appear to be fine.

I have done a VCDS autoscan which has flagged a number of errors, a lot specifically on 09 - central electrics

In the faults flagged under 09 Electrics - my power steering, electronic parking/hand brake, heated windscreen and rear screen all work fine and i put my hand over the light sensor and it makes the headlights come on ok. Maybe these are false negatives after having the battery disconnected for a while to test if this magically reset something. Could what i have posted be a coding thing messed up or has the J519 control unit been borked somehow, which is what im more thinking is likely? Or does anyone know of any other random fuses hidden apart from the 2 usual spots at side of dash and by battery?

P.S, if anyone has additional tips on how to turn off start/stop (as i have been trying this a number of time without success) and whether auto folding mirrors is possible on mine (the can be folded from driver door switch ok) that would be an additional bonus

Did you save a backup in VCDS beforehand? If so I'd send that back onto the car first and see if there's any difference?
Otherwise, I'm not just 100% sure with VCDS, but you could potentially get your basic coding back to defaults , or try a software update of the module that'll hopefully reset it to "new"?

Bit late now I know, but the likes of carista and similar apps dumb down a lot of the coding and can prevent mishaps.. Not that I'm an expert or anything but it definitely does save some bother. I've VCDS and the BMW softwares too and I'll use the phone apps/ a vgate adapter every time instead.

Typically i didnt take a backup this time as i only go along changing one or two things, so i know what to revert if something goes wrong, maybe more fool me?! How do you do a software update or the module or put coding back to default?

I would be very doubtful of the wires being broken, everything fine one moment and not the next, car hasnt left the driveway. I had thought reverse light switch as a possibility but too many other things gone wrong, plus i can manually turn on my reverse parking sensors to work and the measuring blocks on VCDS can see the car going into reverse, so the car does know the selection.

I do have OBDeleven also, but i prefer the layout of VCDS in some ways and being able to see it more clearly on laptop for coding.

Parking sensors are related to the reverse lights not work, it's not getting the signal to tell the car it's in reverse. Screen washer could be a coding issue too, ie both have been turned off. Go through all the settings and see what's not "on" easier to do that explain.
Have a look in the central electrics or CANBUS coding.

Ok, went back into 09 Central electrics, turned the start/stop option back on, as it didnt work after trying to disable it, and low and behold, all is now working as normal. How ****ing weird that that knocks on to everything else.

So for future reference in case it comes in handy to anyone else to try/compare, my code went from and to as follows.

I’m unsure if it works in CCs but if you go into 19 and change the stop start voltage limit from (I think) 7.2 volts to 12 volts the start stop will never work and there will be no warning on the dash. This is via the ODIS system in work so unsure of channel numbers with VAGCOM.

I've read similar but also a lot of comments about how this can wreck the battery due to overcharging or something, supposedly.... Although after all these years of people trying it there's never been absolute confirmation. Will bear it in mind but have tried one thing in the CAN-gateway to test first

Not sufe if this will help at all, but in the Audi A6 C7 forum, there was a discussion about coding out Stop/Start. Apparently members had issues as well, but some folk found success with coding the car to remember the last button press, so when you turn Stop/Start off, the car remembers.

You can get eliminators on eBay pretty cheap (about a tenner). It remembers last pressed setting and keeps it there. I deactivated it with OBDeleven on mine.

Cheers for that @Cookies, but sadly nothing exists on mine for that channel. Went through them all but no mention of anything relating to stop/start either, so will do a bit more digging, but does seem to stump a lot of people outside of the voltage thing.

On the plus side, i have managed to work out how to enable auto-folding mirrors on these (seems to be different coding for RHD cars from my digging) even though it seems to have eluded most people for years
