Got caught by the average speed cameras at Dickson’s in Bangor.

The offence was on 27th June 2021 but the notice wasn’t posted till 28th July 2021.

That’s well outside the 14 days isn’t it? What should I do?

Yes you’ve got away with one.
Same happened to me a few years back.

But,, you’ll still have to do the initial bit and reply to the NIP to say who the owner is etc…
Then when you get the get the follow up letter ring them and let them know of their error …

They tried to offer me a course instead of the points after I informed them but obv politely refused that too.
It’s law- it HAS to be posted within 14 days.

Posted on the 28th July I received it today.

Were you in a car registered to you?

If not then be careful as the initial letter could have been sent on time but to somebody else (such as your company etc)
