Deposit taken on my own yesterday evening - must be the week for selling MK1 Octavia VRS's! Keeping my powder dry on replying to that post until the car is collected and definitely sold.

What part of the world is it off to?

Well after selling up last year for a mk5 GTI which soon ended up on a hunt for an Impreza or a R32. Covid19 surely hampered my hunt for something new but any car I was interested in after receiving further pictures all had the envitable rust for these age of cars and particular models.

When I had sold the vRS I had asked the buyer to give me first shout if he was to sell. Fast forward to last week and thankfully he did just that.

The car has done to little to no extra mileage since I had it with just 50k on the clocks. The car has had new pads and discs all round, serviced and has been detailed and is looking as good as ever.

Some rubbish photos of it in the garage for now. Plans are to further perfect it and have some bits replaced but truth to be told it really doesnt need anything.

Now you've got a second chance, remap and add one of these! Completely transforms the car - so much more enjoyable and adds silly noises to boot!

Theres a fantastic red estate for sale over in England. 70 odd k on it. Theres also a smart looking black hatch advertised locally on gumtree.
Was very close to buying that red estate myself to sit beside my mk2 lol

Starting to compile an Ebay saved list, I'm after a new genuine drivers headlight as the existing is crazed. I had already replaced the passenger side so it would be good to get them in similar condition. Also need silly things like a petrol cap cord and would like to replace the key fobs again as the top fobs are loose.

Still tinkering away with this when I can.

Replaced the exhaust mount with a new genuine one as the back box was sagging a little.

I picked up a replacement drivers headlight as the original was too far gone with weathering and no amount of sanding/buffing was going to cure it.

The original..

Going to get a few snaps of the car inside the local dealership where it was originally bought new in the next few weeks which will be kind of cool.
