Fairly sure I seen two Renault Avantime's parked in the Whitewell church on the shore road today, both in blue.

Not that they were ever 'common' to be fair.

Saw one on Friday as well, blue with white stripes, and a broke exhaust, lol.

And a sticker saying "I'd rather push this Fiesta than drive a Corsa"

Good find. I can tell you're a city boy, lol.

The 505 was the go-to pickup for the farmer back in the day if you didn't need a Landrover. Peugeot were one of the few diesel cars back then. (if you couldn't afford a Merc)

Back when we were doing fire fighter training in 2003 we got given a 505 Gti estate to set fire to and cut to pieces. Probably worth a good bit of money now

Ah, the mighty 504.

I was given one of these years ago for a destruction derby, but wish I'd kept it... Along with the Lada estate and 2 Volvo 240's.

Here it is before..

And after... Look closely and you'll see the throttle pedal stuck under the bent brake pedal. The work boots were a good choice that evening.

My work car park is a treasure trove of classics

This is a daily driver! But the only one I see regularly. But I remember them being quite common in the 80s growing up

And while perhaps not that common when they were new, they were certainly more common than they are now! Another daily in the area (summer time at least)

I remember them being a brilliant driving thing. There was a taxi company in Southampton that only used those primeras despite them all being petrol engined. They were epically reliable apparently.
