Pop up headlight model? There's a tidy white one with black bumpers around the Lisburn Rd :cool:

Also spied a very tidy MK2 Polo ranger, dark metallic blue F reg still with original wheeltrims etc on M1 citybound near Stockmans,

See that all the time he must live nearby. There’s a Renault 5 still in daily use in the area, 306 XSI and an old Nissan Bluebird too. All older people.

My head was getting Preludes mixed up with Celicas, it was this shape Celica that the headlights tilted up vertical when on.

Haven't seen an early one like that in ages. Neighbour has a late 5 door Mk1 Clio from new, haven't seen it out in a year or so though.

I never noticed how alike that pair are in shape, the Celica was out a fair bit before the Prelude too.

Had forgotten that it was for the MK2 Clio! Whopper of an ad :laughing: they did sketches with two guys in trench coats in their series and they shouted Papa Nicole at eachother, always wondered is that where the idea to put them in the ad came from

Also spotted a tidy green 3dr 306 XSi lowered but otherwise standard wheels etc (I didn't see a reeeeeeeek or hear a waaaap boooooo so don't think it was a d-turbo) and spied an 83ish Volvo 340 5dr GLT maybe up near the La Mon.
