Didn’t see the model...but think it’s a Toyota Carina? I remember having one growing up...View attachment 288493
Camry. Loved by Americans due to there reliability, comfort, etc.
A solid car, but stupidly dull to drive. Dad had a 2.2 Petrol Auto for a short time and it was dire.
I'd love a white saloon, grandparents had one when I was very young (I guess when the E36 was the current generation 3 series) and have very fond memories of being out in it
Is that your droop snoot? Any more details?we still have our one from new

My father had a red one bought from ( I think ) Malcolm Templetons. The engine blew up and after it was fixed, a dog ran out in front of him and wrecked the front fibreglass panels. Not a lucky car.Was on the A8 today and seen one of these, didn’t even know what it was; a Lotus Excel

Bit of a Toyota thing going on under the skin. The Eclat version in particular had the Supra wheels and some of the chassis parts. It even had the taillights from the AE86 Corolla. Was on the A8 today and seen one of these, didn’t even know what it was; a Lotus Excel

Are you sure they weren't rover sd1 lights on it?Bit of a Toyota thing going on under the skin. The Eclat version in particular had the Supra wheels and some of the chassis parts. It even had the taillights from the AE86 Corolla.
Possibly that blue one in the pic but the lotus with the supra wheels also had toyota lights, maybe it was a sprinter. Are you sure they weren't rover sd1 lights on it?
Passed a yard there with 2 isuzu piazza turbos in it. Rare in the day, nearly unheard of now.
You staying in Barry’s Porthole?
Basically similar to an AE86 Corolla; front engine, RWD, LSD, but more power. I don't know why they weren't more sought after.I had to Google that, never heard of
Did they appear in the earlier gran turismos the name and badging is familiar but I don't know where from.
