Another vote here for Magifoam. Good cleaning power, especially if made up with a wee touch of Citrus Power. pH neutral too when mixed so won't harm waxes and coatings.
Alan at Technical Products is the supplier for Ireland, so can get you what you need if the local usual stockists can't get it or haven't got it.

Polar blast wouldn't hold a candle to it for cleaning power.

If you can, get onto one of the Autobrite Back to Basics courses, surprising how much you over use products.

Any recommendations for a good hydrophobic coating for windows?

Glaco - look no further, this stuff is unreal, easy to apply and remove. Lasts ages too!

Can get it online or locally at ProCar @Davey@Procar

Thank you for the suggestions. I'd use one of the Gtechniq ones before but was years ago. I'll have a read over them tonight.

Really well
I got good results from car chems glass sealant. Wasn't dear and lasts longer than easy coat on the windows.
