id say if you have the skills to control a car at that speed , its fine, 70mph is rather slow, id say the limit should be set to 100, and no le-way for going over it,

i.e 101 is 3 points,

Cars today can handle motorway speeds of 100mph with ease... I don't see why not either.

They always seem to quote braking distances too when talking about speeding, looking at the distances givin id say todays brakes are far better than what they where when they made up those distances, 4 disks are way better than 4 drums they used to have!

I disagree, have a look at a car that has been invloved in a 60 MPH crash never mind 100.

Just because you can "handle" a car at 100mph doesnt mean you will not have a crash.

Im not saying everyone will crash. Just the results are disastrous.
