Peugeot diagnostics

I've just bought an old 2002 206 1.4hdi and it has the engine management light on. I've tried using my generic OBD II reader but it can't communicate with the car. Does anyone handy to Tandragee have suitable diagnostics to see what the issue is? Or what cheap diagnostics tool do I need to get talking to it?

Peugeot planet I believe it is called. I believe you can get hacked versions for £30ish.

I've a good code reader which hasn't failed me yet if you want a trip to Bangor or Ballynahinch to try it.

Second that for Peugeot Planet - its a ball ache to install though. If you get stuck give me a buzz and I can help. Also happy to lend mine if you're handy with a VM.

Its peugeot, its old, it will be a broken wire somewhere down the obd plug/loom or fuse
