Just wondering if anyone can assist with an issue I'm having with a Phaeton. The car won't unlock/lock with the remote and if I open it manually and try to start it it'll claim "Immobil. Active".
I only have the one flip key for the car, so I assume maybe the key is dead, (tried changing battery, the LED on the key blinks but the car does nothing). Also tried replacing the left side car battery to no avail.
I have spoken to 2 auto lock smiths who say they can't code keys for the car due to a pin on the immobiliser. Has anyone any experience with coding or extracting the immobilizer pin so I can recode a new key? Preferably something which doesn't involve recovery to a vw dealer!
