Porsche 997.2 PDK

Ever since I can remember Ive always wanted a Porsche 911. last thursday I made my way over to leeds to lift this, my new Porsche 997.2 PDK 911. I really couldn't have been any happier, Going through the yorkshire dales and onto the boat in Cairnryan back into Belfast around 12 hours after id left.

Im really enjoying it so far. the way it corners and accelerates is just class. It definitely isn't a really 'fast' car, but so far its been very good at everything.

The only thing I plan on doing is throwing some decent springs in it.

myself and some friends went up to watch some of the track skills today then took the ferry back over through to newcastle and headed over the mountains on the way home. 200 odd mile and a great trip, heres some pictures from today!

H&R sprints with 15mm rear and 8-10mm front spacers will transform it.

Red calipers would be a nice touch too!

Love the PDK. I wasn't 100% sure before I bought it, but its effortless to drive. I think paddles would be better than the buttons though.

The colour change for the calipers will probably be done over the winter.

Design911 sell the paddle wheels for about £800. Great upgrade!

Enjoy.... and yes, wheel is worth every penny. I upgraded mine before i’d Even left the dealers!!

My only complaint with the pdk in auto is it’s desire to get into 7th gear.... if there was a was to cap it at 6th unless yiu hit an an overdrive.... would be perfect.

It was very cheap for a 5 digit. It definitely says $hit right enough, but I kinda like the look people give it. It annoys people more than anything which is never a bad thing.
