I’d say it’s boiled the oil with the temp going high.

Mid 140s,but doing some digging when these things run a bearing the oil temp goes sky high.

It doesnt really sound like bearings....at least nothing too serious. And whilst 140deg isnt ideal for oil temp, with a good modern oil it really isnt much of a concern either as long as pump etc is in good order and still making good pressure

You've stopped it early enough, so hopefully damage not too bad

140 is high but not like melting metals or incinerating oils high. Probably something else causing the oil temp in the first place, and the temp was just a symptom.

Fingers crossed repairable once you work out what failed.

Finally got the engine stripped. As thought no 4 bearing gone and wrecked crank/rod.

Think the pump shat it’s self. There is a bad batch of pumps doing the rounds and looks like this is one. It’s being sent away to get looked at.
