Sold the X tech last August, have really missed it, great workhorse but add more than 2 people it just didnt work. Spent a lot trying to get more space and comfort but it had to go... My old bulid thread.

Tried to resist the urge to look for a 110 but then the perfect spec i wanted came up. Cant get it back until i am back from a work trip.

Funny we are looking at defenders as a workhorse/promo tool for PMG. They look amazing with a few quid spent on them

My girlfriend's Dad has an old 1995 Defender 110 County which has been parked up for a few years and in desperate need of saving, I would love to buy it and restore it. I fear the cost of undertaking it would be monumental though, apparently replacement doors are around £300+ each these days!

The rebuilds can rocket out of control, my mate took a 94 300tdi 90 to bits and rebuilt it,reckons he is near 30k into it now.... the problem is there is nothing cant be done to them with a few tools so 'everythings' always possible. I wont be cutting this one up for sure. I always wanted to do this to a 110 seven seater...

I love these, was near devastated when Land Rover pulled the plug on the production of them - the only real 4x4 I would buy...

I see one near boucher sometimes in a very similar finish and always admire it - hard looking things

My wife's uncle just traded in his '12 90. Broke my heart hearing what he got for it- I was desperately trying to come up with a reason to buy it.

Cheers, the colour was top of my list, it's harder buying one the second time round as you know all the bad things to watch out for and are constantly adding up to costs.!

Called in with @dirty dave today and i be returning before the weekend to collect a few large boxes... Cheers Dave for the help going to try and resist to fit the bits until i have everything next week and then spend a few days at it.

Got it back on Tuesday. Love it, so much better than the 90..engine etc all an improvement. Had a day off so took a few hrs to give it the once over, still like new. Won't look like this for much longer....love the premium interior with the alcantara headlining. I have little to do inside apart from a new steering wheel.
