R56 mini p111b code

Mother inlaws mini cooper 07 is stalling at lights and junctions i went to look for maf sensor this model hasnt got one. A fault code has come up anyone had this problem before P111b?

Could be a load of things, vanos, stretched chain, oil level to low, the list goes on. Its a specialist job tbh if you dont want to fire the parts cannon on it

clean out the air filter before doing anything else.
after that get the 02 sensors checked on diagnostic equipment. a bad signal from them messes up the fueling

Have you checked oil level? I had a 2010 Clubman and if it dropped half way between the two marks on the stupidly hard to read dipstick then the VANOS would play up and it stalled at lights and junctions.
