Can't be used much if it lasts two years I would say. I maybe get 3 or 4 months but that is washing 3 cars at least weekly. Then I bought another canister and use the older resin as a pre filter which makes the good stuff work less hard and now lasts longer.

Used quite regularly. But the water up on my area isn't that hard to begin with. That's why I can get up to two years with it.

Works out at about £4 per kg. You can get it on Amazon or eBay.

Buy a 25 kilo bag for about £80 and depending on canister size that fills it maybe nearly 3 times.

Checked my water tonight. ~200ppm before the filter. Doing it’s job well.

Do you have a link for this? I would like to keep an eye on how the resin in my vessel is holding up..

I've the same wee tester. Handy wee bit of kit and cheap as chips, though my water is rarely above 40ppm before it goes through the filter!

Just bought the above tester from eBay. Really surprised to find the water where I am is only 29ppm!
