Range Rover Sport 2008 - stuck EHB

Guys

a friends electric handbrake has stuck on and will not release. Any quick fixes or will it have to be towed?

Think theres a release under the centre console towards the back if I remember rite

Yeah as said lift up the plastic that the button is attached to goes around the gearstick, and there's a hoop of wire, pull it, you'll have to give it a good pull to release it.

Use the jack handle through the loop to give yourself a bit more leverage

you can grab it easier through the rear passenger wheel arch
