Hi Guys, I’m sure quite a few of yous will remember me on here from owing the supercharged e30 and the Ariel Atom supercharged some 3 years ago

Just got this DC5 over in Scotland couple of nights ago An i absolutely love it.

Was originally imported by Torque GT with only around 10,000km on the clocks, this is backed up by mileage certificates. It has now got just over 14,500 miles on it an I don’t plan on it seeing 15,000 in my time if I’m honest. The previous owner to me kept it in a heated garage all the time he had it and the first time it seen rain was when I was driving it home unfortunately Il have someone clean it in the next day or 2 again (underneath as well)

I’ve just ordered a new carcoon for it there now on eBay so it will be going into that very soon An stored away in my shed. It may however see the up An coming Kilbroney show thou as that’s right beside me. (Weather dependent)

Anyhow I shall let the pictures do the talking sorry there not great quality as I’ve only took them with my phone or they been sent to me.

When I bought the car the owner told me it has the lowest mileage on it but I’m not too sure on that so would be nice to know if there is any lower or similar. There is absolutely no wear on this car anywhere An it even still has the protective film still over some of the plastics inside. It has service history from Japan and uk, was looked after over here by Dickson Honda specialists in Scotland.

Mod wise it only has an injen induction kit and a kakimoto back box, (I have the original parts with the car too)

Yes if I’m honest it was bought as an investment. I wanted a V6 limited type R Impreza to put away but the price of them has rocketed too much An I’ve missed the boat on them. I love DC5s too as i had one 13 years ago in my younger days so I just had to get this once I seen it.

Fresh import DC5 are starting to command mad money an I recently seen that BHP imports said one like this with more miles was imported for close to 20k even starting to see DC2 and import EP3 edge towards the 15k mark

Were you also getting the 11pm sailing on Sunday night from Cainryan by anychance? Spotted one as i was queing for the boat with a reg very similar

That was indeed me . Was glad to get that boat as my flight over was delayed an hour

Did look very clean with the weather still. I was driving the red mk1 Audi tt on air suspension. I was half worrying myself as got held up more than Id had liked to have been in Manchester.

Nice car. I’ll go slightly against the grain in regards to a future investment. Although more than happy to be wrong. With those miles it’ll always be one of the most desirable about.

I just don’t see the dc5 to be on the level of the ek9, dc2 or s2000. But that’s just my opinion.
