So thought it was about time I done a post about my we mx5 what I bought last August (I think)

So sold my MK2 golf last year and was wanting another mx5 but I was wanting it to be auto and standard with no mods

so found a blue one on eBay at the very bottom of england and the day before it ended this red one was in Lisburn so after work went and had a look round it etc and yes the wings has been replaced but I was shock at the fact it has no rust anywhere on the sills arch's engine bay etc so spoke to the seller over the phone as he was still at work (his daughter give me the keys to look round and test drive) we agreed a price and he delivered it to my house after he had finished work that evening

At the sellers place

And I also wanted different interior and I done this today (19/5/20) makes it look way better in my opinion and happy with the floor off the car when the old carpet was out

Yes I had the main floor bit at mine, he asked me about it earlier so will have a look tomorrow.

How did you find doing the conversion? It's not as hard as it looks. Once you wire the reverse light switch and neutral switch to the loom its just a straight forward swap.

Looking good.

Get yourself some thin marine ply and make the door cards yourself, way better job than the cardboard.

I recommend upgrading the door bushings too, braces things up a surprising amount

So thought I would update this as I've now owned the we car for just over a year

But sold the old black interior to a guy and done a deal on few bits off his tan stuff so finally have the interior finished to the way I wanted it and also thanks to @Bryan for sending me 2 we blanks from the car he was breaking

Tan doorcards with black tops really work in my opinion
IMG_20200905_151726.jpg

And today just give the car a we wash and dry for tomorrow
