Just an update.
sorry been busy approaching all my friends and businesses I know and with the support of so many of you I can happily announce we already have broken my first event 2 years ago so it is already success. I have spoken to the ward today and enquired about all the stuff they would need so I am looking forward to Sunday. This is just a reminder it is not cars and coffee nor a car show but I personally will hand out a full shoot voucher to the nicest car there. Can i only really beg people to please respect me, the businesses around and park safely and do not rev or act silly on the day. I will announce final plans shortly but it will be just a day of some sim racing, bbq and demos and an awesome raffle. thank you all so far for all donations and support and volunteers.

Thank you What a kind gesture. Usually around 30 kids across the floors, but that can change within minutes.

I'll be putting up a proper post later about day plan etc. but quick question - would anybody have a van or larger estate that could help me out massively to bring over a BBQ and PC from Lisburn to PMG autocare tonight. I will try to shovel it into Swift otherwise. Thanks in advance

Hi all,
1 day to go before the FUNdRACER v2 event takes place; I really hope to see many of you there tomorrow

I've been working hard in the backgound to get some money for children at the Paediatric Unit in order to bring them toys not just for Christmas but throughout the year if possible.

The event will start at 12:00 and end around 18:00. It takes place at PMG Autocare, Belfast. IT IS NOT A CAR SHOW, it is a charity fun day. We have 100 hotdogs and 100 burgers for you and some sweets, as well as tea and coffee to keep you warm. We have 4 racing simulators with the fastest lap of the day getting a prize. We have 4 FAQs sessions during the day so you can ask and learn a few things about car maintenance, cleaning products, detailing or ownership of electric vehicles:

POLISHED AND WAXED 14:00
ANACHEM 15:00
NIEVO 16:00
(times may vary)

The raffle tickets will be sold throughout the day and the raffle will take place at 16:30. All unclaimed prizes will be posted on FB, so don't worry you won't lose them if you are not there for the raffle.

I hope during the day you will call in to say hi, grab some food, have some chat with us, enjoy some nice cars , do a racing lap and donate if you can!
What I don't expect is people to rev their engines, drive innapropriately or disrespect local businesses.

Any donations on the day - money, toys will go directly to the Paediatric Ward.
Anybody wanting to bring over sweets, treats for the people on the day please feel free!

I really hope to see you tomorrow and thank you for the amazing support, from bottom of my heart appreciate it a lot guys and girls!

Please unwrapped as then we can advise toy specialist there what we have (age groups), infection control reasons as well (e.g. fluffy toys are no no when viral infections are at large etc.)

I picked up the burgers and sausages from the Cunningham’s Butchers - the UK & Ireland butcher shop of the year (2 years running) and baps from the cookie jar in Newcastle.

It’s all I can do to not stick a couple on Tonight to sample them
