Hi guys, our next run has been planned and an event has been created on the facebook page. Would like to see you guys down again and thanks for supporting the run last time round. Details are as follows:

Guys after the craic we had on last weekend’s run and with nothing car related happening we have decided to host another run out.
Starting point will be Mcdonalds Sprucefield at 10am and from there the route will take us up around Lough Neagh and finishing in Castlewellan Forest Park
As usual there’s no fees and anyone can show up on the day. This won’t be a 20 minute blast up the road, it’ll be another all day event so bring money or food along to keep yourself fuelled. No borders this time so no need for euros and octane booster. We’ll have photographers taking photos throughout the day once again, more route details will be disclosed nearer the time. Hope to see you all on the 30th.

Could you or have you checked with Castlewellan Forest Park about this? Been to a few things up there that no-one had told them about, they were still charging for the parking up there too. Sounds good though, hopefully make it for this in either a Cooper S or Mx5

We’ve parked up a few times without issue. Have you experienced problems with them before?

Definitely been to a run before that ended there and had to pay £10 entry, carpark was a mix of families that were there and us lot

Hi guys we'll be posting route details on the event page this week. We've taken comments on board about parking and photo opportunities throughout the route, it'll obviously depend on the total number of cars that show up. There will be more B roads this time round for those who like tackling corners. I'll update the thread here once the route details have been updated, for those who don't use Facebook.

Guys here's a brief outline on the route planned for the run. Please keep for your own records and type the end points into your sat nav to help prevent anyone getting lost. Note that we’ll be taking the scenic routes in places, with mostly B roads so the sat nav may try to bring you another way.
The route has 3 main location points.
Starting point is McDonalds Sprucefield. Leaving at 10am
Stop 1 is Lough Shore Park in Antrim.
Point 2 is Spelga Dam – This will probably just be a drive by as the car park is usually full, especially if the weather’s good.
Stop 3 is Dundrum car park – or the hard shoulder depending on spaces and the number of cars present on the day.
Finish Point is Castlewellan Forest Park. Admission is £5 from memory.
We’ll take the M1 from Sprucefield into Belfast, taking off at Clifton Street and then heading for Antrim via the A52. We’ll go off the beaten track in places before arriving at the first stop.
We’ll then head for Randalstown, Ballyronan and onto Stewartstown, before taking the M1 to Portadown and head for Banbridge. We’ll head through Rathfriland and Hilltown and onto Spelga.
From Spelga we’ll head for Kilkeel before regrouping again at Dundrum before the final stop off at Castlewellan. We hope the weather is on our side and that a good crowd turns up. Feel free to message the page for further information, If required.
Please be aware due to current guidelines around Covid19 please remember to bring your own food/drink and to practice social distancing etc. Please respect these guidelines and remember that there’s no prizes for first place, we want everyone to get there safely and with their license still intact.

Absolutely a blast today, never a dull moment during the 4hours drive, had to leave after the Lough shore car park as duty calls...some beautiful cars and the weather has been fantastic! Only managed to take few photos...

One of those Supra's is a lad I work with. It's over 1100hp on race fuel.
