Your Audi labour bills have probably paid for the Audi xmas party, for the next 5 years. Cracking car and some amount of work going into it.

Engine drop was and is the only thing they've done, out of warranty. Drive shaft was replaced independently, oil seal will also be done independently as I'll be going nowhere near Belfast Audi again.

Probably get any further big work carried out by unit 20, as they're the closest of the big name specialists in England.

A normal owner would probably paint the front bumper and give the car a detail, but I'm very ocd with paintwork, so will be going the full 9 yards, then keeping it hopefully pristine while breaking 200k miles lol

What about Belfast Service Centre? They had one in the last time I was there.

I don't doubt they'd be good, however given unit 20 and MRC have both removed a large number of the engines in these cars I want to have them clear the car fault wise, I have no doubt they would find anything and everything that could possibly go wrong so they will be my next stop.

After that I've received a more local specialist recommendation of tufty so might take it to him there after.

I used Unit20 to rebuild my gearbox on the RS6. Couldnt recommend them enough. There’s no doubt if you want it done right, they're the guys to talk to

The amount of money your spending on this would literally finance a move into the newer c7 is it called.your either clearly loaded with cash or seriously crazy .just don’t go overboard and start throwing good money at it as you will never get it back out of it.
I haven’t stopped thinking about your other one we spoke about earlier and I have been dreaming up the engine build and everything else u could do to it.fair play lad ,you have mahoosive balls .

I wanted the V10 and I prefer how its slightly more subtle than the more aggressive newer C7, apparently a lot of the C7s are having engine trouble once tuned to 700+ so also not as reliable as a bigger capacity engine with more cylinders I think. Plus the C6 is cheaper, I'd have ended up putting a similar amount into a C7 (which I couldn't afford lol) to have it the way I want anyway. Currently sitting on 163k miles lmao.

It'll be a car I have for a good few years to come as it's a decent all rounder.

The guard is a travall one and the liner is a hatchback, both great pieces of kit, easily installed and uninstalled.

Thanks, it's one of the loudest thinks locally now I think 8o|

Managed to nab a video of the wagon today after collecting my 328i from having a little work done. Also have to go through a bit of go pro footage I took this morning and evening, will post them when I've time.

But for now enjoy this 😁

Edit: YouTube link isn't working 😑

Pretty sure I passed you yesterday about 4:45pm on the way in to Newry. Looked to be some shine off the car.

Would have been me in the green E36 behind, had my mate drive it back to work for me, took the below video 😁 only washed the day before lol

The first attempt I attached the go pro to the rear window in the corner, when I watched the playback anything over 30ish was too noisy from wind speed, so I repositioned the camera to the lower rear bumper bang in the middle of the two exhaust tips. There's nothing to look at, but there's plenty of noise 😁

More of the E36 please!! Lol

In two minds as to whether I bug Rick to fabricate me an exhaust for it tbh, on one hand it's useful to have a car that doesn't wake the country up on cold start at 5am, but I want to hear her sing! Thoroughly enjoying it though, especially after new brakes and rear wheel bearings as there was an awful hum from the back end.

This showed up today from Germany 😁 waiting on one more suspension related upgrade but as the post office is closed today I'll have to wait to tomorrow.

This and the other components will be getting installed along side the big brake kit in a months time. Safe to say I'm excited.

Got impatient and had to take the ARBs out of the box for a nosey 😂 now I'm also looking at buying upgraded end links from the same place I got the poly bushes.

Excuse all the hair, I've a husky shedding his coat 🙈

So the update I've been very impatiently waiting for! Honestly I can't help but smile when I see the car now as this was the biggest let down for me. All that's left is a detail then to have the Chrome trim wrapped black.

Of course the day I collect it the heavens open up, at least I got to admire the beading from freshly painted and buffed panels!
