Happy man......more steps complete. Blinded, manholes raised, drains in and all plastering done. Just missing one more thing now..........feckin tarmac!

Another 4 week wait, was ordered 6 weeks ago.

Wife was not amused at me using her Q5 as a roller for the blinding 🤣🤣🤣

Then the final bill will arrive 😱 spent a fortune so far.

Under the bonnet...
If @big_pete has taught us anything it’s that everyone needs a feature wall for photos 😂

One full wall that won’t have anything on it and painted white. Just taped the joints and painted over. Leaving the screw holes helps me know where the steel batons are and I can replace single sheets easily if needs be without any faff

Which is daft considering the amount of staff leaving and offices empty.

I remember a local business wanted to expand and I am almost sure almac made a load of staff complain so the plans were turned down, this would have been about 10/11 years ago

I haven't updated in a while because not a lot has happened. It took me a long time to cut and fit all of the diagonal supports - all 18 of them and cut and fit the overhangs. This evening I got stuck into roofing it and cut all the rafters to size. Can't wait to see some reclaimed slates on there.

Still have to find slates for the front to match the house but I picked up enough reclaimed slates to do the back side a few weeks ago. Could also do with some scaffolding tressles if anyone has any going spare to do the front.

Has anyone got any experience with the Quality of Washing Bay Sheds Tin? Pricing around to get Tin for our Garage Roof and outbuilding. They are the Cheapest but someone has warned me of Quality not being as good as some others?

Managed to get the battens finished today despite the torrential rain and the wind trying to blow me off the roof.

First load of slates fitted. It's a long and tedious process. I got these slates from a terrace house roof in north Belfast. They are just grey so that's why I'm using them on the back. The front will have proper Bangor blues on it to tie in with the house. Can't wait to get it all slated.

It’s just occurred to me, spotted your Scooby last week parked round the Pug garage and towards POD too!

Yep, orby flattened and this is going up

Yeh park there if I'm in the office as it's out of the road.
