There are some great threads on garagejournal and good benches to drool at but a lot are free standing.
I always prefer to have my benches rigidly fixed to the wall as it reduces the amount of material required for the frames and makes it sturdy enough to beat and pull on whatever you want to in the vice.

Just noticed the wall you have painted is grey. If you can, paint it white as it makes a huge difference to the amount of reflected light in a small garage.

What colour is your wall? I can't quite see it. Lol

Yeah will probably paint the other walls white :grinning:

@Ollie that garage would absolutely do me in. Mine is a mess at the minute, but it is 5 mins from being back to OCD friendly but that's a 40 year clusterf*ck you are dealing with. I don;t know how you do it.

My shelves are made of old pallets.

It's rustic.

Thought I have added electric and guttering.

Just have a few fleg stones to lay out the front of it to tidy it up a bit. I have insulation for it that has to go in at some point too :grinning:

I really liked the idea of the car port with roller door infront of the garage that someone did on here. New place we are moving to has a garage but it has the washer, drier, sink and a freezer in it so not ideal for squeezing a car in

That's how mine is at the moment (also a toilet!). I think I will definitely be looking into sheltering the driveway in some way.
