We are pleased to announce that our Regional Day Display will be returning to Ballee Playing Fields on Saturday 25th May 2019. This year our event will be split into two sections;

1) A Show and Shine class open to all makes and models of car, with prizes for '10 of the Best Fords' and '1st and 2nd Non-Ford' on the day

2) An Expert Class, open to RS vehicles only, where cars will be judged on a concours level within the following groups:

Group 1 - RS Cars Manufactured 1968-1985
Group 2 - RS Cars Manufactured 1986-2000
Group 3 - RS Cars Manufactured 2001-2019

(please contact us if you wish to enter).

As usual, we will have a range of trade stands, catering stalls, an extensive raffle and refreshments at the show interlude, which will make it a great day out for the family.

There are also plans to celebrate a number of vehicle anniversary on the day, with more details to follow in the coming weeks.

So save the date folks, we have the sunshine booked so it should be a great day out!

Seeing as
1. Nobody on your RSOC facebook site bothers to reply/authorise a post,
2. RMS members dont seem to bother to reply either to PM

Stuff - it lets put it out to the RMS massive

Anyone happen to know who the owner of a mk2 escort im trying to track down

the car is a very distinct car in that its originally a 1979 white mk2 1.3 ghia 3door with vinyl roof but with a vauxhall redtop engine conversion. reg is XBV 750V

This conversion/build was all done by a very close friend a number of years ago, like late 90's, Eddie McLean, who tragically took his own life on Good Friday past. We had been talking about the car a few months back in that he thought the car was long gone/written off but we found it was still taxed & MOT'd, Then Eddie asking around then found out the car is potentially still owned by somebody out Downpatrick direction. This was also potentially confirmed after i drove past what i thought was it on Easter Monday driving out past Carryduff.

Not looking to buy the car or anything but just to know that the car still exists and hopefully taken to meets etc where me & another friend who also owned the car at one point could get a look round the car - just for memories sake if anything.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Only one week to go

Thereā€™ll be a special ten year anniversary stand celebrating the MKII Focus RS.

Also we hope to have an RS200 on display to celebrate its 35 year anniversary.

A dedicated concourse section for RS vehicles will allow for judging on the day.

It would be nice to see as many faces as possible, support a good cause and grab a coffee and bite to eat whilst looking at some class cars.

All vehicles / makes / models / club stands welcome!
