Myself and @Rob have booked in for the RSR Trackday on 26th August @ the Nurburgring. Details here: Drive the Nürburgring - Track Days » RSRNurburg

We're departing NI on Thursday 22nd, returning Wednesday 28th.

At the moment, it's just the two of us going from NI with a few from mainland UK.

Would be cool to get a few more cars from NI going - anyone fancy it?

About 3k! Unfortuntely travel there and back is sharp!

1100 miles, 4 boats, accommodation, trackday (€895) insurance, breakdown cover, fuel, tuition.. all worth it tho!

How Many days are you spending at the ring? Might fly in.

Fly, hire a track car

Oh Happy Days, assumed you would be landing sunday night & hitting the road again on Monday.

Could me in, Friday lunchtime - Monday PM would suit me well workwise.

Need to work through the calendar, have another big holiday in August...

But this would be the perfect time to pop my 'Ring cherry as it were! And a wee roadtrip for Princess

Would be glad to have you along - you'll need to book the trackday soonish, as it's limited to 120 cars. Everything else could be booked a little later.

Does that include a passenger or just driver and car? 1 person accom and boat travel?

Checked Spa for a double header, they're virtually next door after all.

But it's the Belgian GP that week.

Actually, it's the Belgian GP that week

You’re looking at approx:

£250 Scotland boat
£400 Holland boat
£250 fuel to get there and back 1100 miles
€895 trackday entry
€26 per lap on public sessions (may as well aim for say 15 laps)
€35 per night bed and breakfast
£200 trackday insurance with Moris (Westfield £25k)
€80 ADAC cover
£250 fuel for the ring (say 30 laps at 8mpg)
Plus costs for food and drink

So around £3k for the entire trip if you want loads of track time. If you weren’t doing the trackday and you didn’t go mad on laps you would easily shave £1200 off that

*Edited with updated costs* @Boydie
