TDI = Turbo Diesel
SDI = Straight Diesel
Well in VW's etc anyway...

In Rovers SDI's are Turbo I think...

Straight diesel as dermot says. Those VAG engines dont go too bad either for straight diesels.

SDi's are deeead. Sluggish at best in a polo. Absolutely awful in a golf!

I went to Belfast the other nite in a Straight Diesel VW Caddy to pick up a car I bought off the site... 60MPH was it flat (That takes the piss) and it drunk a full tank of diesel from omagh to belfast and back - ??? Just over 100mile round trip? Like even the V6 cav could of done it on a tenner of petrol at 60mph..
