Seat Leon gear stick wobble

Has anyone any knowledge or understanding as to why my Leon gear stick when in gears has a lot of side to side movement?its just sloppy or know who could look at it?thanks

Excessive wear in the bushing, incorrectly aligned, wear on the inner spine of the selector arm? I could give you a list of reasons as to why it could be.

Cant say I've ever come across it before, certainly could take a look and see what's causing it. The only problem is that my current appointments are booked right through until the last week of February.
