Not much in the way of updates …
Just enjoying it for the summer …
Good wee run out to the RMS meet and a run to
the Lough Erne ..

The Supersprint and Carbon intake will probably have to wait until next year …
But going to get it booked in with @big_pete for ceramic coating before getting stored for winter again ..

That really is perfect, my favourite colour in them and my favourite wheels as well.

Not too many updates other than keeping it as good as I can….
Another visit to Colm Hyland for an Oil/filter change (not due until next year since only a year since Inspection2 but wanting to do it every year rather than 2) and means I can happily store it away for a few months over winter.
This is my first year ever having a garage so it’s brilliant to have it safely inside after having to use a cover last year..

Well after thinking about it for ages I finally decided to go for a proper paint correction and ceramic coating…
Paint wasn’t in bad shape but it really needed a proper gloss brought out in it and I wanted to know it was looking it best before locking in a coating…

Knowing the good reviews @big_pete gets I had a discussion with him and decided to go with the correction along with Crystal Serum Ultra and top coating. Also got wheels and all the glass coated too..
Pete is such a nice guy and clearly knows what he’s doing and so passionate about it so was easy to bite the bullet and get it all done.
Another good thing using Pete was that he also sorted any stone chips etc along with helping to liaise with @Southsky as I had it lifted to PMG so not to drive in the crappy salted roads.

With being a bit of a garage queen and only used in fair weather then I’m hoping this should last years, and making a really enjoyable washing experience…
Washing it and keeping it clean is one of things I love to do most with it ..so can’t wait until the good weather in the Spring now!

Looks amazing and can’t wait to get it outside.
The paint is so glossy now and I can’t stop touching it lol

It’s a proper nice car that. It’s literally like brand new inside, couldn’t tell you the last one I see with such a fresh interior.

Finally got a good drive for the first time this year… emptied a full tank heading up the Coast Road to Portstewart, great day for it and car was faultless as always.
Just over 55k miles now, really not getting to enjoy it much with our constant rainy weather…

Another year with hardly any miles out on this,
It’s still on 55k miles…

Last wash..

Now tucked up on CTEK for winter…

And as last year I’m back on Autotrader looking at F80 M3’s!
I’m really not cut out for a garage queen I think, sometimes I wish I had just found a normal condition average miles example to use in most weather conditions and not worry about putting miles etc on it…

So would definately listen to offers inc swaps, and will think about doing up an Advert although not sure where to start with this one…

Or... Just drive it and enjoy it! .. If all you're worried about is resale, then it's definitely not for you. Cars are for driving! My old Silvia isn't mint, but it's worth more now thank what I paid for it. Don't give a crap about money, it's my car & I'm gonna drive it! .. If you're not getting any enjoyment, flog it on and get something you can take on a Sunday run. .. The problem is always finding a suitable replacement!

This might sound stupid, but that's the most silver, silver grey E46 M3 I've ever seen. Most appear much darker.

And it's clearly down to the sheer glossy goodness.
