5k for a det s15???
Id highly doubt that.

I know a boy has one at his door for that a couple years back. I'm sure it's gone up a bit since. Can get a spec S for about 4 thought. Best way to go is spec S auto. Usually the cleanest examples and cheap, with your change you can afford to RB it probably for less than a good Spec R would cost here.

Engine, box, clutch pedal kit, dash trim etc much you talking?

Jdm garage charging £200 just for a spec 2 r33 second hand single seat, realistically how much would the above cost in 2018/2019

Have my eye on a spec 2 skyline.

Waiting on more photos...

"Rebuilt engine"... wasn't a rebuild.

Owner bought complete second hand freshly built engine and tuned this year of said jdm garage. meant to have part exchanged factory engine for part towards the good freshly build engine.

Imported 2005 92k. But it's £10,500 :confounded:

Price of them are brutal.

Wasn't that long ago they were half that lol

@ossy2004 2 of my best mates have S15s atm. One came in as an N/A auto and was manualed before my mate bought it. I know the guy who done the manual conversion but don't know what he paid for the pedal box and trims etc. The guy probably had them sitting around to be fair lol

In terms of Value I'll put it into perspective. One of my mates bought a clean spec R manual and it cost him just under 10k. At the same time my other mate had that NA one that he paid about 5k for and is dropping an RB in. Even if he spends 5k on that conversion, he's got an RB S15 for the same money and his shell is the cleanest example I've seen. He could probably still make money if he sold it.

As for R33s, they're my personal favourite. I bought mine in Scotland for cheap money and it was problematic. I got a quote from Alan at Import Wizards and he said you can get a spec 2 from 5.5k. If you're willing to go up to 6.5k you can get a pretty clean, low mile example.

Personally I'm a Skyline guy I'd go for the R33 every time. But I thought I'd share what little I know to help you make your decision! Personally, value for money, if you can be patient enough, importing is the way to go(y)

There's loads of boys here who know a lot more than me though @SMURF1 @Eager

I **** thee not. He had been looking for a hell of a long time and it came up. Ive no idea who he ised to get it here or any other details other than it was black, not great wheels, basically rust free and was an sr20det

Are these kind of no.s still accurate enough?

Am on the look out for a clean unabused s14a, but seems they don't exist anymore!
Would consider an import if it was viable

Suppose the s15s are more readily available.

They have increased a lot in price since this thread.

I got a Nissan 370Z and sold it since.

Defo will be hunting for a clean r33 spec 2 in grey very soon, real nice one sold last week on eBay for £15.5k but reduced to £14+ and sold instantly 😔

I know a fella has a mint 200sx that has only been out for shows and put back in the garage, think it’s running stage 2 and really has been looked after

I had thought about selling it but have probably owned her 15 years now and my wife said how would u feel to see someone else driving her and I said gutted and she said then it’s not for sale lol. She was bought from a dealer only one owner from new before I got her and have pumped some money to get her to what she is now one of a kind and would think I would be hard pushed to find a cleaner one out there. Also have full pictures of her from the start to finish

Its hard to know. There's a lot of dreamers out there with high price tags. But that doesn't reflect the sale prices. And most of them are clean rotten!

Have you got a full spec of your motor?
& Mileage etc
