From collecting the car on Thursday to today, the car was absolutely bogging! Some amount of dust about! After getting it cleaned properly I was actually scared to wash it incase I f**ked up all his hard work but as I snowfoamed it, surface dirt was just dripping of it....quick two bucket sponge bath then hose down and let the water sheet of, I barely had to touch it with a drying cloth, amazing

Been wanting to apply the AG UHD wax to my car since picking it up last year, but wanted to machine polish the car before I did it and I'm glad I did.

Not been applied to the bonnet though as it was only painted 5 or 6 weeks ago, but car was washed on Saturday and a coat of Hybrid applied. Prior to that, there was a coat of C2V3 applied after machining last week and another wash tonight to apply the UHD wax. Paint feels and looks really slick,

Looks great, 220d? what are they like to drive? Caught my attention and could be a contender when I change :grinning:

Yeah, it's an E220d. It's the new 2.0 Merc derv engine. Has 194bhp and goes well quite well for a derv. I rarely have it out of comfort or eco in the drive options as I'm in commuter traffic 95% of the time but odd time I do put it in sport or sport+ its quick enough. I came from Golf R so I was used to that but I rarely miss the power.

what sort of mpg does it achieve? Is yours subject to the additional tax premium for the £40k plus vehicles? They look fantastic and serious road presence.

List price of mine was well north of £40k (infact it was nearly £50k when new) so yeah, £450 a year to tax. All the E Class coupes are over £40k new I believe.

MPG wise I usually get high 40s to low 50s though I have seen upto mid 60s!
