About 4 hrs work on my sisters car this morn! Hasn’t been washed in 3 months or so.
Started with spraying of anachem articulate, snow foamed, washed, plastered in tar so out came the clay bar, all followed up with a coat of autoglym UHD wax.
For all the attention it gets I think it’s come up ok!View attachment 240189

I know a lot of people look down their nose at vauxhall but I’ve always had a soft spot for them, I’ve the current version of this in the vxr, great car, I bought it new 3 and a half years back, has the grand total of 3200 miles on it to date!

Hoping to get something super tasty next year but I’m also hoping to hang on to the vxr too, just really like it and it looks hard as concrete on the road too.

Pic after a wash ( that I prob did months back and put it back in the garage!) lol

How do you find the Project 64 ? I took it to a show to use as a quick detailer and found it hard to buff off. Though it was a half assed job as it was between rain showers.
End result was good though.

Less is more with it, Very much a light spray over a panel at a time.

Wipe on, let it haze over and buff off with a nice clean dry microfibre cloth. Though rain might not help it, it could streak easy enough.

Yeah I'd only 2 wee cloths with me so couldn't buff it off the best either. Maybe best keeping it for home use.

A wee clean at the end of the lease. Got collected yesterday and I will genuinely miss it
Also cleaned it’s replacements... an 05 Gti and a 2015 520d auto

Washed the car today and ended up going a random drive tonight and got a couple cool pictures. I won't be changing the angel eyes to brighter as I LOVE the real deep amber glow and imo they are far more iconic looking and goes well with the Dakar yellow
