A bit old school i know but when replacing plugs on an older engine do we throw them in with pre set gaps, or do we reckon they need adjusted?

Sorry, I'm so old and dottery, I didn't see this until now.... 8-(
Deffo gap them if they are normal plugs, noticed that the iridium plugs for the fiesta have a big DO NOT GAP on the packet. ^o)

Thanks Guys, much appreciated

Thought you might take offence to the oldskool reference :joy: , if it makes you feel any better i class myself in that category now too :joy:

These are NGK Iridium so i must actually check the box to see if it says that ^o)

So does this mean don't gap or don't wreck the tip? Lol

Doesn't actually state anywhere do not gap 🤷‍♂️

Carefully
That’s to indicate not to use the electrode to lever when adjusting. You won’t need much force anyway but avoid grabbing a screwdriver and leveraging it.
