Condition not overly important, doesn't have to have the buttons or paddles or be functional - just to be used as a toy while in the car or anything else worth suggesting?

Thanks

Yeah what ever, or a replica Audi one - he is 4

I have an idea in mind for a mount and holder/bearing so weight wont really matter

Ah I thought it was to hold himself. Order an Audi wheel off Wish.com or something, it'll probably be plastic 😆

I take it you want something realistic? There's a few toy ones on ebay that would at least be safe but they're bright yellow (but at least flat bottomed) and covered in buttons that I'm sure play annoying sounds.

This I 100% understand. I got VW keys from a breakers and eBay for my ones. The chap will want a real wheel - I’d a spare for my Subaru and they were constantly running around with it.

With a real one there will be air bags, sharp metal edges, and whatnot? Plus weight. Hardly suitable as a toy for a small child?

Get a toy wheel and some badges?
