you mean the rear light overlays? there is a fella on scoobynet called Salsa King its him that sells them on ebay Subaru STi Hatch 2008-on rear light RED overlays (ONE set) | eBay , but you can get them a wee bit cheaper buying them off him on scoobynet

Very minor update lol Not a big fan of under bonnet bling but always liked the Forester STI alternator cover so got the cover then got @gsmith And Eastwoods to track me down the jdm only badge which they kindly did

Aye looking back there it's near 2yrs ago I first mentioned it lol just took a while to get the fozzy cover at sensible money

Not much been happening bar destroying a turbo core by my own stupidity...expensive lesson

The cheap Tial copy dumpvalve was part of the reason the turbo got wrecked so been on look out for something a bit better....Forge item fits the bill. Piston type with no diaphragm

It's not a recirc tho so not sure if it'll sound a bit too chavy

Never really been one for engine bay cleaning as it's driven day in day out but must say it does look rather purposeful in there now!

Forge dumpvalve had to go

1. Couldnt deal with the dump noise...too old for it and listening to it sneezing down the road
2. Was giving a few issues with idle, stalling on run up to junctions etc

Back to standard recirc with a fabricated v-band baseplate and a much nicer sounding and behaving car again.

Still waiting on my slot at OMA lol to get the injectors and intake done in order to complete project 400/400 im closer to the top of list supposedly but no real rush

Apart from that I've nothing else planned for it. In truth its need the front bumper painted and wheels done but reluctant to do so as being a daily itll be road rashed again in no time

Up for its Spring steam clean this morning to rid all winter salt/grime from underneath

And also finally got a date, end of May, to go into OMA to fit its injectors, intake pipe & Litchfield tweaked power steering pump fitted

Car finally got its bigger injectors, AVO silicone inlet and other gubbons fitted....initial mapping by @bludgod got it to the 400bhp target then noticed that coolant temps rising slightly more than we'd be happy with on hard long pulls up through the gears so backed it off and letting it go back into OMA to get a top end refresh...its 5years and 30k since its bottom end was forged so needs a decent inspection/refresh for targets I'm after

In mean time I got hold of a mishimoto race intake & airbox for it to tidy up left hand side of bay so done a bit of cutting to allow the front mount pipes to pass through it, currently running the older 2.75" intake

But thatll switch to the 3" 'race' intake one once it's all sorted. Trial fitted it anyhow

Rs3's are still too expensive so it gets a stay of execution for another year or so, plus i still really like the car

Also, some **** stealing plants from my house scraped the wing this morning

Up round north coast today for a rattle...had to pick up turbo core from ballymoney so hit there first then back to clough across via glenarrif to Waterfoot down through to carnlough back over hills n down out by glenarm then back out over hills again to broughshane then ballymena...all roads over hills deserted bar one incident of a detached caravan

It's all running grand and temps are under control but its been backed off to about 1.3bar & 370bhp odds - it's still going into OMA at start of September to get it checked over/refreshed to make its stable at 400bhp+
