Subaru Impreza

Well ollia_crx off the site asked me to give his dads impreza the once over with the PC. The car was absolutely covered in swirls, and buffer trails the paint was seriously letting the car down, as the bodywork is in such good condition otherwise.

So i started in with the following process:

Wash - Megs Hyper Wash
Clay - Megs Professional Aggressive Clay
Wash - Megs Hyper Wash
Compound - Megs #83 followed by #80
Glaze - Red Moose Machine Glaze
Wax - Dodo Juice
Black Plastics - Elite Car Care Stuff
Tyre Shine - Megs Professional Hyper Dressing

Tried my best to take before pictures -

Some 50/50s after Megs 83 only -

Finished-

Father and son -

car came up very well, removing around 90% of the marks. would like to get some practice in some time with wet sanding in order to be able to remove deeper scraches!

Looks like a good job done, though some of the after close ups don't really show the finish properly by the looks of things.

my cars pretty identical to ollie's papa's and i just bought clay bars and next gen. wax so il try and get a few pics before and after to see if the meguires comes close to a pc! (not that u can really compare but!)

Looks good, the red looks great now, some life back in it.

came up really well mate, nice work, paint looks alot deeper now!
could u pm me a price to buff my scooby? just want the same as that done there are swirls in it from when previous owner tried to buff it but made a henrys of it

been waiting on the up of these pics. tbh guys the paint was an absolute mess, the car was dull and flat with enough swirls to make you think it had been washed with a brilo pad all its life.

I arrived mid way through the process and the transformation was unreal, as said a good 90-95% of the marks were removed, but there were some quite deep marks to begin with which sadly still remain in places.

sat in the drive the car is a totally different beast, it actually looks red and vibrant.

Its my first PC experience and both myself and my dad were skeptical about just how well it would come up, but hes amazed, and hes a fussy *******!

cheers ollie, as said if i had more experience wet sanding i may have been abel to remove those deeper marks, but i didnt want to use your dads pride and joy as a test bed
