Didn’t get down until around 2pm. Some nice stuff at it today, nicest sounding car for me was the yellow 355. The Police got the speed camera out for the craic to get some of them coming down past the pits, I think 140 or so was about fastest but that was only at about halfway down the straight.

Pity I missed the F2/3 cars where they going flat out?

The black Ferrari was clocked at 147mph, was chatting to them on the way out.

Negative. It was very much a demo run. But for anyone who hasn't seen anything like that before, they were tramping enough to make you go wow, which it what it is all about.

One of the Ferrari pro-drivers that was in the hurts cars was saying he was touching 170 on the main straight.

Fantastic day I thought….kids loved it and amongst all the exotica I thought the m5’s sounded well. I saw an evolve sticker on the back of one them too.
Had a giggle at @Cooper coming round the top corner behind the GTR, I was sure a wee nudge was on the cards😂

Went down to this and tbh thought it was ok. Not enough cars on the track but not helped by having to stop to let people cross the track. A temp footbridge would help but raise costs.
For me the most exciting to watch was the mk2 escort rally car slide around. Never seen so many (quiet) ferrari and gr yaris.

True, some of the newer Ferrari although very fast are quite tame in the noise department. Didn’t seem as many at it this year but it was late in when I got down.

Good day out although seemed to be less variety compared to last year.

@Cooper trying to pass the red GTR in the final corner only to think twice about it with the white R8 passing both and someone else right away on the exit. Only realised today how quiet the GR Yaris was as well 😂

Spotted @Boydie sorting the pram out as I was coming in and seen @jonny_w parked when leaving and maybe @Burt2000 if you had the Subaru at it (?). A quick chat with @Big Pimp as well

I had a great day, I would echo some comments that there seemed to be less variety in the supercars this year, but hard to complain about watching some great cars blast around the track! The 355 sounded the best, although the SF90 & 296 really impressed me on the straights, seriously quick! The M5's as well were frighteningly fast for big saloons as well!

I had a great day! Some nice stuff there. Managed to get a few laps in the TT too, though didn't want to push it to much as the show wheels were on and the grippy tyres on the OZ wheels, and I've a trip in 2 weeks to England I couldn't afford to break it 🤣

Yes @AidanMcG i had the impreza down, it would have been good to get a lap or 2. I laughed when at the end they let the owners club cars all out for a parade lap and said to go easy and everyone just went flat out😂

Jesus this looked seriously hairy 😂😂 the R8 was not slowing for anyone!

Echo others comments of not as gd as last year and a bit of a rip at £20 but still a pretty unique event and worth the run over.

For any other day I’d have said £20 was steep but when it was all earmarked for charity I didn’t mind.
Wasn’t nice that they were on a shout but when the air ambulance flew over it all made sense… I hope I never need them but if i ever do I'm pleased my £20 and any future donations I make kept them in the air.

Two fellas behind us in the queue said they weren’t paying £20 and left😕, as said if it wasn’t for charity it would be a bit steep but it was for a good cause so no prob throwing £20 in the bucket.

Funny I would have done the same if it wasn’t for charity, between taking the family and food etc I’m £140 lighter, we are on the flight path of the air ambulance so as much as I love seeing it take off it’s going to another accident to hopefully save a life.

Had a great day out. I hadn't been to previous events so was very impressed by all the machinery on display. Huge amount of effort by the organisers and volunteers and great to hear that 100% of funds raised are going to charity.

I had never driven the Bishopscourt track before, so lap 1 was a bit hairy trying to work out where the track went! Great to see a few other Lotus there too.

Absolutely gutted to have missed this. More so after hearing the podcast that this is the last one too!!

At least the weather held up well.

Congrats to the organisers and hope there was plenty of money donated for the charities.

good day out. great cause for charity. d say they did very well out of it all, plenty of folk there and plnety of cars each paying 20 quid in. my wife and 4 kids turned up too so cost me a clean fortune! [plus tyres and fuel on track.
nice to see many people from here ive not seen in a while.
my only concern was the track was a little amateur. drivers should have had a briefing about overtaking and the public should never have been allowed near the pit lane wall. just so many things can go wrong, but luckily they didnt.

What’s the reason for not doing it every year? I thought it would have been a good fund raiser for the air ambulance

What a great day - been a long time since I have been at a car show and was great to have the kids with me, they loved it. I think my eldest loved the rally car the best as it kept doing "spinnies!"

The youngest kept giggling as the single seaters went by so over all it was worth every penny. Stayed a lot longer than anticipated and the wee one someone got to sleep in between it all :joy:

Highlights were:

  • Grey GT3RS - sounded amazing
  • The 720/50LT (blue one) sounded unreal
  • TDZ 24 F80 M3 full hang coming onto the straight  think he is a member here? Def recognise the number
  • Seeing some of the supercar owners out lap after lap doing what the cars were designed for
  • My eldest loving all the police cars - great to interact with them for the kids

Great to see some old faces too and quick catch ups but I had to keep moving with the kids to keep them busy. Would love to have got my S3 round a few laps!

You are fond 😂 my car is stinking but leaving the house shortly to head up.

Saw your car just on the way out diagonally from mine, looked clean!

What’s the reason for not doing it every year? I thought it would have been a good fund raiser for the air ambulance

From the podcast the organiser just said it takes up too much time away from his own business and initial cost (I think) - the foundation is set though so could be handed/bought over for someone to take on i guess

Hi @nobby

Many thanks for coming over to get us from the parking area yesterday morning and really sorry I didn't get much of a chance to talk to you yesterday - was yours the Burnt Orange Exige? It was looking great too - bright colours definitely suit the Exige! Great to (all too briefly) meet you and the Elise owner too (someone else on here?)

We will hopefully get a another Lotus run out before the end of the summer - will post on here and on the NI Group on TLF - and hope you can get along to that too.

@RP420 your car looked sharp on the track, it must go really well with that power in a light chassis.
