Test fit of a few panels made from 10mm Malaysian ply secured with existing holes, even the bolt heads were countersunk for flush fit.
Now, I know what you’re thinking why didn’t I take the panels off, lash a coat of oil on the bare wood now I have them the right size so they will be dry & ready for another application in the morning. It’s because it’s 03:58 and I have to be up @07:30 to help my dad do a dump run with my Transit.
Actually, while we’re chatting, here’s a pic of the type of operation he currently runs after a got 18T of logs cut, split & stacked for him..
Yeah that’s right, hand balling them into a gabion bag to trolley them outside to my van. The mighty Jimny will put an end to that caper.
