Looking somebody to tack weld spot on caravan handle that has broken off the mechanism - anybody recommend someone in North down area I could call with. Thanks

Is it steel or aluminium?
Looks like alloy maybe?

Pretty sure that's cast. In that case, welding would be a waste of time. A new part might be the best solution.

DIY araldite chemical metal worth a shot? Only a couple of quid if it doesn’t hold up and might help while you search for a cheap replacement.
