Porsche 959 - one of the most technically advanced cars for it's time (1986). It's fast by today's standards, in 1986 it must have felt like an absolute rocket on 4 wheels.

444bhp
0-60 : 3.7 secs
0-100 : 8.3 secs

In the right spec, with the right wheels it is a cracking big machine.

Here's a RUF concept:

ruf-porsche-panamera.png

ruf being the real keyword.

porsche hasnt learnt anything there, step back to 69

for when the missus says a 911 isnt a family car, the troutman. or 4 doors for more whores, although it was launched in 69 (i think) you could still order one until 71 (if you were smoking crack, that is)

56oval - I see what you're getting at, but for peeps who want a big, fast, comfortable sporty saloon car there isn't much out there, especially if you've perhaps been driving 911's et al before kids come along.

The Pan isn't the best looking car out there, but it does what it's supposed to. That green 911 limo above is a weird looking with the suicide doors!

big fast comfy sport, you get an m5 or the like surely, seriously tho times have changed and there is a real market for the pan european express, not my bag, but if porsche have different angles on their key demographic these days fair enough, if it keeps folk at porsche in work then ditto.

however if you really got bored with the crack pipe and fancied throwing some acid in the mix, you'd probably end up with the worlds only single production version of a 4 door 928.

Pure Soul
Hated the Panamera passionately, then Top Gear did that challenge against the post office and I love them.

If I was pure Porsche and needed a family car, I'd have one no problems. Cayennes feel special but they hark back to the Toerag too much.
