Sloaner why did you sell the 968? What was it like?

Hi Woodcutter - i had it for 4 years - so time for change. I loved the low seating positing and the torque. not overly fast, but good for a bit of late braking. Porsches can look underpowered on paper, but the chassis and brakes make up for what might seem low bhp. I had an e36 m3 while i had the 968 and the m3 seemed more rapid, but the porsche was more controllable power if you know what i mean.
The downside is the 4cyl engine - hence, lack of sound effects. plus side - cheap motoring - classic insurance. parts aren't dear either. zero depreciation

very nice darth vadar style, although if i was in the market for any porka, it would have to be completely as it left the factory with no mods, nice all the same tho.

The 964 is awesome by the way. Some Porsches can look a bit bland, others like the GT3 etc look very purposeful. The 964 definitely falls into that camp.
