Quick post of an other ongoing project I have.
Not too much done at the moment as I picked this basket case up in the middle of the bmw rebuild.
Complete bike in there near enough.
First off I cleaned everything so I could have a proper look at it all.
Everything cleaned up well and I stripped it further to paint.
The frame went to powder coat.
I then decided for some reason to buff all the nuts and bolts.... shouldn’t have started but worth it.
And so on....
The engine is now in the frame and the wiring loom connected but not in position.
In 2 minds what to do with this now. The man I bought it from was going down the cafe racer look but I had thought about more of a flat tracker style.
But a few friends and I have been talking about buying old enduros to mess about on and then I realised this is exactly that and after some reading they seem very capable.
So I’m now leaning towards an enduro build.
I’ll update as I go along but this won’t be a high priority for the next month or so.
