Yeah, bloody expensive but the spec of the drivetrain plus all the metalwork on the shell, the custom parts would add up very quickly. The engine and gearbox alone have got to be £50+k alone by the time you include a Motec ecu / mapping and the exhaust and manifold etc. I wanted a Simpson manifold for the new engine I am building for the MX5 but it's more than £1k, on what started as a £650 car. Things get out of hand pretty quickly in a place like that with a pair of buys like those two who are about as enthusiastic as you could get about what they are doing.
Having said that, it'd be the first place I'd go if I had a few hundred k to blow on a car, way before any supercar.
