Bored during quarantine, and I fancie a 6cyl daily

Bought from @Marc Collins there last week

2002 320ci auto I'm a big m54 fan so do for a road slider

A slider you say sure it's a gash 2.2 auto, bare with me

I've rack spacers and my own made extra lock hubs sitting in stock

Rear camber arms and toe plates also here

And I won a set of chape coils off ebay

Also a set of 5 series 17" wheels there 20mm less on offset helping greatly with lock clearance and being 8" they take a 205 40

Already on the car as i robbed the genuine replica mv2 for my daily

Next I needed a donor, ive everything here to do a manual conversion but no engines

So bought this 2000 330ci manual with a cracked head and half stripped engine

330i was killed yesterday engine removed and head welded last night

Also has a full sport electric leather to be robbed

Today seen the 320i converted to 330i manual using M52 Exhaust manifold rather than the gash m54 version

Car still has 2 pedals and no exhaust fitted but I'll do that on Monday

Definitely pressure test the system before going too far.

Yes I still have that in storage, and constantly buying bits for it be put together some day

Yesser engine and box in the trailer down home gouged it out and glued it up,

It'll get its neck rung as soon as it starts if it fails it fails

Not just fix the 330?

Few bits missing of it and had a shunt at the rear, but it would need a full subframe and shaft changed anyway to make it any way use able as a road car /drifter

Might aswell update this

Clutch pinned for cruise control to operate

Then the neutral saftey lock out jumped to see if it goes before joining wires

Then a ful Inlet strip due to a waster leak, was never touched so easy over looked sure these things happen

Then the extra lock and coils ft broke bolt

Converted to 6 bolt shaft due to it being only one I had

E60 fat 5 and tyres

Bored decided to take it for a we jaunt, drives as new Concidering what it's been through, we wrattle from os front caliper area and brake pedal just wouldent feel the best so aborted the mission

It has its origonal calipers and discs so I'll throw it on the ramp tomorro

And a we wash

Disc wasent seated flat, polished both surfaces and drives like a new one,

Cleared a multitude of engine faults due to me using the starter to wash out the cylinders with the engine loom hanging over the wing,

Absolute powerhouse now

Altho I'm tempted to fit the 3.0 Inlet tb and DME, as I have it all in stock but the limiter is absolutey horrendous on the OE 3.0

And the boy I use for mapping won't map the 3l to hard cut as they oil pumps fall aff them and grenade the engine, but this car was supposed to be a m54 2.8 conversion, I've spun them to 7400 in the past with no issues so this is just a test to see what a hounding a B30 will actuaally take

I just happen to have stripped the pinion gear bald
