I have one for the P* and it's a raised sticker that pulls off.

I don't know if all their stuff is the same but I don't see why it wouldn't be either. Just bung the same sicker on everything essentially, kind of makes sense.

Yep it was a test drive. As people have mentioned ordering has stopped.I have my name down on the list.I will c how I feel if I get the chance.
You could put your name down for more of the dealers for a better chance of getting a cancellation.

That’s very true, but in all honesty not sure wat I’m going to do.If things work out for me I’m thinking of possibly getting an m5 or a newer m3

I definitely wouldn’t be paying over list for one. It’s a great car but as @svensktoppen said not worth it just to get into the craze which will die down.

I’m guessing there wouldn’t be the “FaceTube Craze” if it wasn’t as great as everyone thinks. Have yet to see or hear one bad review about them.

FaceTube craze? Hogwash. One of the best drivers hot hatches ever. Am I right @Zach417
Well I’ve never driven a Mk5 Golf GTI so can’t comment on it being the best 😜 better than my 208 GTI By Peugeot Sport which I loved. It’s good enough to justify the craze but is it worth paying over list to get one now and what do you think it’ll be worth next year ?

This thread is due an update.
Haven’t done a lot to the GR since other than drive it a lot.

To start off I bought a 172 Clio from @big_pete for track days. So spent more time getting it ready for track. Might add it to this thread or make another. Done 2 track days at kirkistown in it and it’s been a blast.

I changed all the oils in the GR at 2k miles, the rear diff had a lot of crap on it so would definitely recommend getting them changed. I changed the diff oil again at 6k and it had much less on it but still has me thinking about getting more cool air to it.

I remembered I had a ferry booking that needed to be used because it was cancelled due to covid so decided I’d go to the Goodwood Revival as it’s the only Goodwood event I haven’t been to.

Did a bit of driving around Snowdonia, although a lot traffic on a Thursday afternoon.

The Saturday tickets were sold out so I did the Friday and Sunday at Goodwood. So drove to London and picked up a pair of bucket seats for the Clio. Wasn’t much space left in the back of the Yaris after that.
While in London I went to Ace Cafe

Nearly 1300miles trip getting about 34mpg. Other than the road noise it’s a great car to spend a full day in.

One the things in the interior that bugged me was the gear knob. Got a forged carbon one from a group buy on the GR Yaris forum

It has me thinking more about removing the wrap on the roof and lacquering it.

A few weeks ago I bought Eibach 20mm lowering springs from TMC Motorsport

A bit more stiff but it looks how it should’ve looked from the factory now. String theory 21.5mm wheel spacers are coming in a few weeks.
Took it to VSM in Campsie to get the wheel alignment done again. As always no shortage of nice cars there.

Looks mint on the new springs, it's closed that arch gap up nicely!

100% agree, remove the wrap and lacquer the roof 😍😍

Great little car I'm sure. I'd love to try one sometime. Not that I'd ever own one as I have to much money wrapped up in my fun cars and bikes to be able to buy a more fun daily.

I'd love a track car (even thought about converting the EF to a track car, but I think they are too rare and valuable now to do that with it) But it doesn't make sense, only one track nearby, I'd also need to buy a trailer (although I could probably just borrow my neighbours one) and I'd need a daily driver upgrade to tow it with and with my work I'm only home 4 months a year anyway.

You didn't mention if you thought Goodwood was any good? I'd love to go to the FOS and the Revival sometime.

For a fun daily I wouldn’t have anything else.
I don’t have a trailer license so the Clio gets driven to and from the track and hasn’t let me down yet *touches wood* It makes me drive a bit more sensibly on track knowing I have to drive home in it. Would like to do Mondello but it’s a 3 hour drive so would want to trailer it just to be safe.

The Revival was amazing, top quality cars and racing. Full props to the owners of the cars for using them and letting other racers go door to door with them. I had a grandstand seat at woodcote on the Sunday which did not disappoint for seeing good passes and crashes. The feel of it is really like going back in time and was a great place to be when not watching the racing.
The Revival, Members meeting and FOS are very different but you can’t go wrong with any of them, you just have to go to them all. Personally I prefer the members meeting as it’s got the racing with a bigger variety of cars than the revival with more modern cars but also has a much smaller crowd which has almost full access to everywhere.
The FOS is massive and is very commercial but it has everything, they’re very few types of cars or bikes you won’t see there.

That clio never once let me down in the two years I used it as my daily. It had an engine replacement at some stage so the engine's fresher than the chassis. Probably my favorite car I've owned tbh. Shout if you're ever looking to move it on again lol.
