You'd be very welcome, she's great fun.

I might try to aim for the next Trackskills. MOT tomorrow, so I'll see how that goes first.

I may also have better rear brakes too.

quick trip to Ai will get you rear APs lol

You can't get them for the rear of the Civic, I've to make do with good discs and cheeky pads for the time being.

The tyres are the limiting factor now, it's really only to slightly improve stability and feel.

Tyres make a huge difference, as does tyre pressure.

On normal road tyres you want to run slightly higher pressure (warm tyres!) on track to help support the soft tyre walls in corners.

With AD08, 888, etc. you want to do the opposite. They're designed for track use and have re-enforced tyre walls. This means you can run at lower pressure than normal (again warm tyres!). Which increases the size of the tyre patch against the track, and hence grip.

It makes a big difference.

On road put the pressure up a bit again to run more efficiently in normal use.

Edit: Lower pressure, not temperature, doh...

Looks like Will got the M5 from this off. Grim, turns out I know the fella. Heartbroken.

Late 2000 BMW M5 E39.
Le Mans Blue, blue and black heritage leather (seats twisted), good Engine (now sold), good gearbox, good LSD differential.
No exterior parts survived intact, except high gloss window trim, and possibly a nearside wheel (subject to examination).
