It's class through the gap, I did it in a really crappy car something like 30 years ago, glad it had no power tbh although it was still fun.
Great to see this being properly used, brilliant!

Will be her last run out for a while, if there are any nice clear winter days out she will come, yesterday evening in dark icy conditions was not a whole heap of fun, well it was sort of fun trying to keep it straight but really don’t want to wreck it.

Yeah probably the last chance for such a trip at this time of year, still great to have taken the opportunity when you could.

Many Things.
Did it last year as a passenger in an x5 - fair to say a nappy was nearly needed.

Great pics

The Bride and myself were very glad we weren't in the Rangie, the Q5 was big enough!

I can’t imagine going up in a Q5 or X5..it’s right and tight even for my wee car.. not being able to see the road as you crest it’s very disconcerting..

The bridge with the 90degree approach wasn't the most pleasant and I couldn't see over the crests either and I was practically licking the windscreen I was that close to it trying to see.

Having said that, I will go again if I am ever in the area. I just thought the views were fab.

Mine goes away from about October to April (unless there's a very crisp blue sky day, with no salt on the roads) - mostly because I need to reapply chassis protection but it's easy to loose the rear end in even modest conditions :grinning:

Another brilliant trip in the Sag from Thursday past until Monday covering nearly 600 miles for the TVR Celtic Gathering in Scotland.

Headed off Thursday evening on the ferry and stayed the night in Ayr, up early in the morning quick splash and dash and off up to Oban for a distillery tour and some lunch, then out some of the most fantastic roads through Glencoe, around Faslane (to see the sub hangers) and down to the main event at Loch Lomond.

The Scottish, Irish and NI TVR owners were out in force despite the rather damp conditions, absolutely cracking time (far too much drink taken)

Some great cars about, especially the LS7'd T350 which went and sounded epic... (white one pictured on German plates) and Peter Wheelers own car (The White Elephant as its affectionately known)

Who brought the VX cat among the pigeons there :innocent:

Brave to have that lot out in the salt and wet of March, but what a trip 😁

VX owned by a guy from the south, he has a Chimera undergoing a full rebuild, hopefully he will have it ready for the next gathering in Kerry next year.

It was great to see so many out, the weather was average at best but the one thing all the owners said was that the cars are meant to be driven, I have to agree I bought mine to use.

That looks like a great time.

I'll never not love how awesome Sagriss (Sagari?) look. If I hadn't gone down the project car route with the Datsun build a Sagaris could have worked for me I reckon.

I did indeed, couldn't find anything I liked more than Moonraker Black on it.. Its an absolute bas*ard to keep but when clean I love it..

I think you made the correct choice, it’s such a great black, the coarseness of the metallic flake in it sets it apart from other blacks. Superb.

Phenomenal looking trip, can’t wait to get back and do something similar myself. Did you get to the road near Glencoe from Skyfall?
