Uk to NI via ROI with a vehicle purchase

Plan to go over to UK to buy a bike and a van.
New keepers slip and insurance transferred at points of sale.
Put bike in back of van and come home to NI via Holyhead-Dublin ferry.

Anyone know if there will be any brexit handlings/red tape doing this via ROI.


Don't fancy going up to Cairnryan but will if it means less hassle.

We did it a few weeks ago buying an estate car near Sheffield.
I filled it with GRP panels while we were over.
The people at the port in Holyhead had a wee look in the back but weren’t really bothered.
Nothing at all in Dublin.
