Not sure it's what you're after, but I have my wife's Volvo XC90 which I keep meaning to get sold. She was using it every day until we got the defender, but there was a bit of a drive-train issue starting to develop (which I believe is the torque converter - feels like a slipping clutch when coming to a halt, and doesn't engage drive and reverse smoothly) which I can't imagine sitting for 6 months will have helped it much. It could just need new gearbox oil though.

If you can be arsed sorting that I would sell it priced accordingly. It's silver, with160,000 miles, a cracked tail-light and duct-tape holding the glass onto one mirror, but (apart from the recent gearbox issue) hasn't gave a bit of bother in the 6 years we have owned it. Also has a tow-bar!

I would sell it for £500 - I'm sure it'd be worth 5 times that if it was tidied up, but I just haven't the time to look at it myself currently.

If you could up your budget to around £1500 firm I’d part with her 08 freelander 2.2d auto 90k mot’d. Decent driving jeep, few blistering marks starting on lower wings, towbar

Not to take the thread off on a tangent but a few people have pm’d me about the xc90 I mentioned. Pulled it out and power-hosed the leaves and moss off it!

I’ve tried to photos any damage as best as possible.

I’ve left a voicemail on the number supplied on the Gumtree add and PM’d the seller on this forum’s classified add, I’ve not had any reply.

Off to look at something today (Volvo estate) which if I can get at the right price will be coming home with me

Also on the lookout for a hatchback or estate for the dogs once the A6 goes. Something presentable with MOT and a towbar would be ideal.
