Anything INTERESTING about under 1k must have MOT and be handy enough to run. Something like a yaris t sport ignis sport etc

girl in my work has a mk4 golf v6 4motion, its a 2.8 petrol think she was looking around 900-1000 for it, only like 70/80k on it and shes had it for years but doesn't drive it

its red and a 5 door hatch and 4wd :cool:

I’m gonna follow this thread. Come spring I fancy dipping my toe into the track day stuff. So a hot hatch for a grand would be the perfect beginners track car. I think a Cooper S or a Clio would be perfect!

MX5 is a good shout. Though I would of thought one that cost £1k would be a bag of rust.

Here’s another option for you other than a supermini.
You won’t get a WRX for a £1k but a normal Impreza AWD will still be a good laugh. This ones £1500 but you might be able to haggle it down a bit.

You’d pick up a puma swapped mk5 fiesta for that no bother. They are brilliant fun, with or without mods!

A little over budget I know....

My cousin bought a van from this chap - very positive experience even with a few niggles. Also a colleague speaks highly of him after a dose of an XC90.
