Rocko wants an electric Mini. Maybe. But will that real-world range of 105-110 miles driving before needing a recharge kill the idea?

Haven't listened to the podcast yet - but I'd love to know where you're getting a C63 estate for £15k? Or an E92 M3, for that matter! If you're after a Touraeg, just wait a year and get it for a tenner.

Note to self - listen to podcast before asking next time.

So there's a C63 estate available for £13.5k and @Rocko still wants a fat Golf. Looking forward to hearing him get ripped to shreds on that one.

Enjoyed this on the way down to Dublin this morning…. Wasn’t impressed with the comment “motorsport doesn’t interest me” 😆😳

I've been winding my F1 loving friend up with that "It's just driving" line for 20 years. Still works too.

Who was it that said “Ferraris weren’t great in the 90s”?

sheesh.

They may have mixed up the 80s and 90s

Some memorable Fezzas from the 90s alright. 80s were a different breed. I remember being out in a 1982 Ferrari Mondial and it was just awful in every regard.

In the 90s I wanted a Viper or a Diablo, wouldn't have even considered a Ferrari.

They should bring back the Viper, and definitely with a V10. Some student did a render a while back and I thought it looked great.

Half way through and thinking “wtf?!” myself at this👆🏼 “…no great super cars and BMWs on the wall”
Pretty sure you’re all a bit older than me and in the 90s I still had F40s and F50s on the wall 😂 never mind the McLaren F1 🤷‍♂️

Edit - Germany/NL 🤦‍♂️😂😂😂

The autobahn thing reminds me of my time there and the utter frustration / fear of coming up behind trucks at well over double the speed and the back one pulls out to do a 1mph overtake. 8o| That section they were 'testing' the Supra looks a lot like Bad Oyenhausen near the Netherlands / German border (Easy to confuse the two, obvs..). Yer man testing it wasn't very sympatetic to the clutch or gearbox either and didn't get to wind it out much for all his abuse. For me, bahnstorming was getting up at 3 or 4 am to empty a tank of fuel at vmax in less than 200 miles. My regular return journey from Berlin to the Hook of Holland took 4.5 hours each way and needed a fuel stop in Bad Oyenhausen to get you there. The Alfa had an oil temp gauge which was very useful on the long high speed sections as you could see the oil temp rise up over 110 degrees so you could back off to around 125mph for around 10 miles to let it recover and then back up to vmax.

When there was mention of @Coog and a metro, I thought he'd bought another and went excitedly searching. There is coolness in old mundane stuff too tbh.

What is Rocko doing there? Toerags, not liking motorsport, liking Clarkson, liking leccy cars? Get outta town lol
